It's that time of year when match directors have to put together a schedule for the next year so that boards of director's and club members can OK things.
The Osage Orange Schedule (tentative) will be out by Christmas or so. There's some negotiation possible at the next two board meetings in November and December, plus a lot of other work at SBRC to do.
But Fritz Rettig at St. Louis Benchrest was kind enough to send his schedule--3 weekends of Highpower at St. Louis...definitely worth the investment of time and resources:
March 26 and 27
May 21 and 22
August 6 and 7
These would most probably (undoubtedly) be an across the course match on Saturday and a 600 yard match on Sunday. At least that's the way it has traditionally been done. OTOH, perhaps one day the F-class shooters will ask to flip the days and shoot on Saturday instead of Sunday. But until informed differently, consider it XTC Saturday followed by 3x600 on Sunday.
Les Welch called to say he'd going to move the JCG match from it's traditional July date to September 10. So that's something to look forward to. Of course, there will be the toys match (I don't have a date for 2022, but it's generally the first or second Saturday in December).
